First Appointment

The first appointment with Dustin will involve an assessment that will help determine what types of services will be the most helpful for the presenting problems. This typically takes 45-50 minutes, but could take up to 3 sessions.

Counseling for Children and Adolescents

Dustin provides counseling for children and adolescents who are struggling with anger management, parental conflicts, trauma reactions, focusing, depression, anxiety, grief, divorce, friendships, and school (both academic and behavioral). Often, sessions will involve a parent or caretaker to help the family learn valuable coping strategies and assist with negative thinking patterns.

Counseling for Adults

Dustin provides individual counseling services for adults who are struggling with anger, depression, anxiety, job performance, social relationships, and/or trauma. Dustin believes in the importance of empowering his clients to take control of their lives through the use of evidenced based practices.

Fees for Services

Dustin Daugherty is a provider for most insurance companies, including Title 19. If Dustin is not a provider, he will work with your insurance company to negotiate inclusion in your plan.

Co-pays vary depending on your contract with your insurance company and will be discussed with you prior to your first session. If you do not have insurance, Dustin also provides a fee for service rate of $180 for an initial assessment, $150 for family sessions, or $170 for individual sessions. There is also a sliding fee scale available. Dustin will discuss payment options with you over the phone and through email if you have any questions.
